WMHCTA Upcoming Trail Projects
2025 Trail Projects (Coming Soon)
Trail Projects involve single day-hikes and multi-day trips. Volunteers work improving trail tread, clearing brush and logs, and improving or replacing trail signs. Multi-day trips often have Stock animals and include a travel day to and from the trailhead.
2025 Sign Installation Projects (Coming Soon)
Sign Scouting Projects involve assessing trail sign damage and needs from recent wildfires (The Double Creek, Nebo, and Sturgill). Trips vary from day-hikes to multi-day trips. Volunteers will hike each corresponding route, take a few pictures and notes (digital) at the sign junction or waypoint, and report the information back so that new signs can be produced and installed later.
Dates are flexible unless already planned and set. Must hike in groups of at least 2. Email info@wmhcta.org for more information.
