We partnered with Wallowa Resources staff to clear the Chief Joseph Trail from both the Powerhouse TH and the Marina TH and up to just above the 5800 foot elevation level.  All together there were 16 people working on that trail.  Three of our newly trained sawyers were among the 5 saw teams that day and together we cut out 40 trees from 3.8 miles of trail.  We also repaired the trail tread in 4 spots where trees had tipped out of the ground and left large holes in the trail from where their root wads had been.
