We had another great trail trip this past weekend to the Nimiipuu Trail and the Snake River Trail in Dug Creek.  We cleared 6.4 miles of trail of brush and rocks and installed or repaired 6 signs over 2 days.  Ten of our members participated and 3 of us stayed over at Dug Bar to work more on the trail down Dug Creek on Sunday.   The weather was sunny and the wildflowers were starting to bloom in the canyon.  

WMHCTA works to improve recreation trails within the Wallowa Mountains and Hells Canyon areas, making trails more accessible and safe for all. WMHCTA also seeks to protect and provide stewardship for cultural resources on public lands. These activities are done in cooperation with the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.
