Seven folks endured hot temps to logout Goat Creek Trail. Eighty-nine trees were removed on trail #1665 and a new sign was installed at the Goat Creek/Bear Creek Trail junction. The 4' crosscut and KatanaBoy saws were the favored tools of the project. Safety note: "One person got nicked by crosscut because took gloves off to pick nose and saw nipped back of hand. Recommend: Always put glove on after picking nose." A good tip! Following Goat Creek the crew focused on clearing Dobbin Trail #1654 and removed another 43 trees.
