On Saturday, July 20, A group of six WMHCTA trail workers brushed the first two miles of Hurricane Creek to just past Deadman Meadow, as well as the first mile of the Falls Creek Trail. The weather was glorious – cool and clear in the morning, hot and clear in the afternoon!

In addition to brushing, we cleaned out about 10 water bars and blocked off a few hundred yards of braided trails. Many thanks to Bob and Mary Kay Pace, Shannon and Brad Power (who came all the way up from Union County), Lew Ward, and Rick Bombaci. Supervision by Rick’s grandson, Momo.
